In 1939, northern Greek immigrant Dimitrios Trandos established the Trandos Farms business on land in Wanneroo just north of Perth. Today, three generations later, West Australian Corn Growers has become the largest grower of sweet corn and beans in Western Australia.
In addition to being a trusted supplier to major supermarket chains and specialty stores across the nation, West Australian Corn Growers exports produce throughout the world. In 2014, the company celebrated 75 years of operations in Western Australia. The reason behind this longevity is the fact that West Australian Corn Growers consistently produces the highest quality vegetables and is able to efficiently ship that produce locally, nationally and internationally. West Australian Corn Growers is Global Gap, HARPS, Freshcare and ACO accredited.
The business is directed by Jim, Arthur, Nicolas, Michael and Steve Trandos.
